Why are transaction fees charged?

Some payment methods are free. Currently, we charge transaction fees for payments made with credit cards and some other electronic payment methods. These fees cover the expenses we incur as a webshop for processing payments. We strive to keep our costs as low as possible and also offer payment methods without any additional charges.
